Samantha Vogt
Senior Interior Designer
Originally from the Northeast, Samantha blends historic East coast with comfortable Southern styles. Her artistic approach on combining clients existing style with fresh ideas, leads to spaces that are both inviting and functional. Samantha’s technical background and attention to detail, cater well to solving difficult space planning challenges. Her goal is to create meaningful relationships with clients, builders and vendors so the design process is seamless for everyone. She aspires to create spaces that are customized to the clients lifestyle and provide them joy.
Coming from a family of designers and creatives, Samantha graduated from University of New Haven in 2016 with a bachelors in Interior Design, Pre-Architecture. Following her studies, Samantha moved to Dallas immediately to start her career. She grew her skills at a Dallas based architecture firm, pursuing both National Council for Interior Design Qualification and WELL AP certifications. Her love for design in both the commercial and residential space, led her to become a member of the J Wiley Designs team in May 2021. Samantha strives to be involved with the design community and continue to grow her professional knowledge. Her experience on varied project sizes in many locations, makes her a great resource for new construction, remodels and interior furnishings.
Lori Gillette
Senior Interior Designer
A long-time resident of the Dallas/Ft Worth area, Lori's love of interior design started at a young age when she discovered how color, natural lighting, and space can be combined to create places that have purpose and beauty. After studying interior design at the University of North Texas she started her career working for Jenifer at a local Dallas showroom. She then expanded her skills and knowledge of the industry by working as an architectural sales rep for a regional tile company and a project manager for a commercial lighting company.
After spending six years as an interior designer with the federal government, Lori re-joined J Wiley Designs in 2024. Lori believes that each project is unique, and she focuses on building meaningful relationships with her clients to create beautiful and functional spaces that reflect each client’s unique personality.
Emily Coe
Junior Interior Designer
With a keen eye for detail and a knack for transforming spaces into vibrant expressions of personality, Emily has honed her skills through hands-on experience. Emily graduated from Kent State University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. She completed her internship in Los Angeles under the guidance of an internationally recognized A-List Interior Designer. As an intern, she realized her love of working with furniture, fabrics, and all things custom or vintage. Since starting with J Wiley Designs in October of 2022, she has been learning through the guidance of Jenifer and Samantha to become a well-rounded and cultured designer.
Emily is creative and intuitive and thrives in an environment where she can build relationships with the people around her (she will remember everything about you down to your coffee order). Emily gave herself the title of ‘personality hire’, which means a successful day to her is one where one of her jokes actually lands. Beyond the realms of design, Emily finds joy in shopping, music, traveling, and spending time with her cat Doc.
With a natural affinity for connecting with others, Emily thrives in collaborative environments, effortlessly bringing ideas to life through meaningful interactions and shared visions. Her dedication to her craft, coupled with the long-time passion for innovation and design, sets her apart in the realm of interior design.
Nicola LeBlanc
Operations Manager
Nicola was attracted to the interior design industry since it is a highly creative pursuit enabling people to love the space they call home. Ensuring everything goes smoothly behind the scenes is where she comes in.
Nicola has over 12 years of account management experience across multiple industries. She is exceptional at delivering products and services that match client expectations. She loves working with people in the creative space and is responsible for collaborating with our design team, vendors and clients to facilitate installs, and provide process improvements. She finds it deeply rewarding when she handles the day to day problem solving.
Nicola grew up in Dallas and later graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors in Mass Communications and minor in business. She is active in the Junior League where she has served as Assistant Chair for Boys and Girls Club. In her spare time, she loves cuddling with her two Aussie pups Bella and Bailey.
Abigail Sonmor
Executive Assistant to Jenifer Wiley
As a tenured Executive Assistant with a background in law, the only thing that could have drawn Abigail out and into a new industry was a world class team with a world class leader. She found that at J Wiley Designs.
In her current role as Executive Assistant to Owner & Principal Designer Jenifer Wiley, Abigail isn’t just here to keep the wheels turning; she’s here to ensure our award-winning leadership team has the freedom to focus on what they do best: curating beautiful spaces that our clients love. Leveraging over 13 years’ experience as an EA, she brings top-notch strategy and support to the firm and ensures the entire team can function with efficiency and excellence. She truly enjoys collaborating with the design team to combine strategic systems with creative processes.
Abigail is blissfully married to Taylor, and they share 5 beautiful children together. She often jokes that her love for Jesus and her family doesn't leave much room left in her heart for hobbies. Nevertheless, she can sometimes be found shooting archery, hiking a trail, or enjoying a home-cooked meal with a few dear friends.
